Instructions
Step 1
So first pat dry your fish fillets with some kitchen roll and set aside.
Step 2
If you have a blender or alternatively you can use a Nutri bullet, place in the slices of white bread and blitz for about 10 seconds, or until the bread is like breadcrumbs, (You can buy breadcrumbs ready made too). Then in one bowl place your flour. In another bowl add your egg (beaten), and the third bowl your breadcrumbs, and set aside.
Step 3
Chop your baby potatoes into small cubes, making sure each one is a similar size. And add into a bowl then spray with some olive oil and season. Give the bowl a good shake, making sure all of the potatoes are coated in the oil and seasoning, then set aside.
Step 4
In a bowl add your fish, with a spray of olive oil and sprinkle over your salt and pepper mix, making sure each piece is coated well. Now carefully dip each piece into the flour first, then the egg and finally the breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Place the breaded fish directly into your air fryer basket, keeping the crisper trays in. And scatter the chopped potatoes around the fish pieces.
Step 6
Then cook on 200c for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked throughout and the potatoes are crispy.
Step 7
Serve with some frozen peas and a squeeze of lemon on your fish and a dollop of tartare sauce of course.
