Instructions
For the bacon bits, I use fresh bacon.
Step 1
Fry bacon in soup pot until crispy and able to be crumbled relatively easily. It's important to make is crispy because the moisture from the soup will lessen the bite a bit.
Step 2
Drain bacon grease and set bacon bits aside.
Step 3
Add your minced garlic to the pot and allow to become fragrant. Add in your broth and deglaze. That yummy fond at the bottom of the pot packs some serious flavor!
Step 4
Add your beans and seasonings, allowing to come to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, and add your washed spinach. When spinach begins to shrink significantly, add your bacon bits back in. Et voila! Super easy, super filling, super delicious.
