Instructions
Step 1
-Mix together chicken with salt, onion and garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, allspice and yoghurt.
Step 2
-Set aside refrigerated to marinate for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
Step 3
-Add the egg whites and mix well.
Step 4
-Add the cornstarch then mix well to form a thick batter on the chicken.
Step 5
-Dredge chicken pieces into the panko crumbs, pressing firmly to stick, then transfer to a tray.
Step 6
-Fry in batches in hot oil for 3 - 4 minutes until golden and crisp.
Step 7
-Drain and sprinkle with salt.
Step 8
Note: Bake at 180C for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway or Air fry at 200C for 10-15 minutes, turning half way.
