Ingredients
4 servings

1 tablespooncooking oil
olive oil or vegetable oil

4cloves garlic
large, minced

450gground pork mince

450gground chicken

100glentils
cooked, green or brown lentils

1 tablespoonground turmeric

1 teaspoonred chili flakes

1 teaspoonground coriander

30mlfish sauce
gluten-free

1 tablespoonsugar
brown sugar or white sugar

½ teaspoonground black pepper

30gfresh cilantro
chopped

8 leaveslettuce
large, for serving
Instructions
Step 1
Warm a large pan or skillet over medium heat. Add oil. When the oil is hot, add the minced garlic. Cook for about 30–60 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant.
Step 2
Adjust to medium-high heat. Add the pork mince, chicken mince, turmeric, chili flakes, and ground coriander. Break up the meat with a wooden spoon and mix everything together.
Step 3
Cook for about 10–12 minutes until there is no pink remaining in the meat. Stir often to prevent burning.
Step 4
Add the cooked lentils, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix well into the meat mixture and cook for another 3–5 minutes to blend flavors.
Step 5
Turn off the heat and remove the pan from the stovetop. Stir in the fresh cilantro.
Step 6
Serve in lettuce cups (about 100g filling per wrap), garnish with additional toppings like herbs, chili flakes, or black pepper if desired.
