Instructions

Step 1
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat

Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Add the trimmed asparagus to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender but still crisp

Drizzle the lemon juice over the asparagus and toss to combine. Cook for an additional minute

If using, sprinkle lemon zest and grated parmesan cheese over the asparagus before serving
