Chili Oil in Shin Ramen?! I Had No Idea It Could Taste THIS Good! 🍜🔥
5 steps
Cook:5min
I usually make Shin Ramen the classic way, but this time, I drained the water and mixed in a few spoonfuls of chili oil. 🍜🔥It was such a small change, but the flavor really surprised me.
The noodles soaked up the spicy and nutty oil so well—
and eating it without soup made the whole thing feel lighter but still super satisfying.

Step 1
1. Boil water and cook the noodles for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Drain and rinse quickly under cold water to keep them chewy.
Step 2
2. Chop 1 green onion. Slice the boiled egg in half.
Step 3
3. In a pan, heat 2–3 tablespoons of cooking oil over medium heat. Add: Chopped green onion (save some for garnish), dried veggie flakes, ½ packet of soup powder, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp peanut butter. Let it sizzle! The hot oil brings out a rich, nutty, and spicy aroma.
Step 4
4. Add the noodles to the sauce and toss until everything is well coated.
Step 5
5. Transfer to a bowl, top with boiled egg and extra green onion. Enjoy the creamy peanut flavor with a chili oil twist—so good and satisfying!
