Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix plain flour, corn starch, baking powder, salt, sugar, white pepper, and msg until well combined.
Step 2
Add water and mix until well combined.
Step 3
The consistency should be slightly thick but not too thick.
Step 4
Add corn kernels, chilli, shallot, garlic, and spring onion and mix well.
Step 5
In a pan, heat some vegetable oil to medium high heat.
Step 6
Scoop 2-3 tbs of the mixture into the oil and fry for around 5 mins until crispy and golden brown.
Step 7
Remove and drain well before serving.
