Instructions
Step 1
Drain the tuna in a sieve and press to remove as much liquid as possible

Step 2
Place the drained tuna in a bowl

Step 3
Add the mayonnaise, sweetcorn and lemon juice and mix well

Step 4
Lay out 12 pieces of bread

Step 5
Butter each slice of bread (this is particularly important if making in advance, to avoid soggy sandwiches)
Step 6
Spoon 75g of the tuna mayo mix onto one side and spread across to all sides
Step 7
Complete the sandwich with a slice of buttered bread
Step 8
Press down and if serving later, transfer the sandwiches back to the bread bag for transport
Step 9
Close to service time (no more than 30 minutes), slice each sandwich into quarters
