Ingredients
3 servings

250gminced beef
or veggie mince

1onion
small, peeled and finely chopped

1garlic clove
peeled and grated

200gpassata
or chopped tomatoes

1 tspdried Italian herbs

salt
to taste

pepper
to taste

150gwhite sauce
ready-made, béchamel

4lasagne sheets
no-boil, snap to fit your dish

50gmozzarella
grated, or cheddar, for topping

Instructions
Step 1
Add chopped onion and garlic to a greased air fryer-safe dish.
Step 2
Spray lightly with oil and cook at 180°C for 4–5 mins, shaking halfway.
Step 3
Add the minced beef to the same dish, break it up with a spoon.
Step 4
Cook at 180°C for 7–8 minutes, stirring once or twice until browned.
Step 5
Stir in passata, tomato purée, herbs, salt, and pepper.
Step 6
Cook again at 160°C (320°F) for 8–10 minutes, stirring halfway.
Step 7
The sauce should reduce and thicken slightly.
Step 8
Assemble the lasagne in a heatproof dish that fits your air fryer. Start with a thin layer of meat sauce. Add lasagne sheets. Spread a layer of white sauce.
Step 9
Repeat: meat → pasta → white sauce. Finish with white sauce and a generous sprinkle of cheese
Step 10
Air fry at 170°C (340°F) for 20–25 mins. Cover loosely with foil for the first 15 mins. Uncover for the last 5–10 mins to get that golden, bubbly top
Step 11
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving for easier slicing
