Instructions

Step 1
Step 1. Make the Sauce: In a bowl, mix:1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp fish sauce,1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp gochugaru,1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp minced garlic
Step 2
Step 2. Prepare the Lettuce: Cut off the bottom of the lettuce and separate the leaves. Wash them 2–3 times in cold water. Shake off excess water or use a salad spinner. Tear the leaves by hand into bite-size pieces (don’t use a knife—it keeps the texture better).
Step 3
Step 3. Add Onion and Cucumber: Thinly slice half a small onion. (Optional) Slice a cucumber diagonally if you have one.
Step 4
Step 4. Mix the Salad: Once your grilled meat is almost ready, it’s time to mix. In a large bowl, add the sliced onion and cucumber. Pour in the sauce and mix quickly. Add the lettuce and gently toss everything together by hand.
Step 5
Step 5. Finish and Serve: Drizzle 1 tbsp sesame oil over the salad. Sprinkle 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds. Serve right away!
