Instructions

Step 1
1. Marinate the Beef In a bowl, mix the beef with 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp cornstarch. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes while prepping the vegetables.

2. Prepare the Sauce In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey (or brown sugar), sesame oil, and black pepper.

3. Cook the Beef Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set it aside.
Step 4
4. Cook the Vegetables In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Add the onions, carrots, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened. Add the garlic and ginger, cooking for another 30 seconds.
Step 5
5. Combine Everything Return the beef to the pan. Pour in the prepared sauce and 1/4 cup beef broth (or water). Stir everything together and let it simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 6
6. Serve Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
