Instructions
Step 1
Combine flour with water. Set over medium low heat until you have a smooth paste (10 minutes)
Step 2
Combine flour, sugar, soy milk powder, yeast, salt and baking powder. Then add your milk aquafaba and the tangzhong.
Step 3
Add butter then mix on high for 10 to 12 minutes. Let rest for 1 and 1/2 hours.
Step 4
Split into three, fold dough in half, flip over and fold in half again. Shape into a ball and let rest for 15 to 20 minutes
Step 5
Roll out each of the balls so that 8x4. Fold top half of the dough down towards the middle, then do the bottom so that it meets the middle turn and roll into a log
Step 6
Cover and let rise for 40 minutes. Preheat your oven to 355°F and grease a bread pan. (Dough can rise in greased bread pan)
Step 7
Use two tablespoons of milk and a tablespoon of maple syrup to make a glaze and brush on top before baking for 45 minutes till golden brown on top
