Air-Fried Sausage Rolls with Thyme and Sesame

Ingredients
3 servings

1 sheetpuff pastry
32 x 26 cm
9Wudy cheese sausages
10 cm each

2 Tbspmilk

1 tspdried thyme

1 Tbspsesame seeds
Instructions
Prepare the puff pastry
Step 1
Roll out the puff pastry on a flat surface.
Step 2
Cut the pastry into 3 equal long strips along the 32 cm side (each about 8.6 cm wide).
Assemble the sausage rolls
Step 3
Place 1 sausage near the edge of each strip, leaving about 1 cm space to seal.
Step 4
Brush the sealing edge of each strip with a little milk.
Step 5
Roll the pastry tightly over the sausage and press the edge to seal.
Step 6
Cut each roll into 3 equal pieces (around 10.6 cm each). You now have 9 sausage rolls.
Step 7
Place each roll seam-side down.
Step 8
Use a sharp knife to make 1–2 small diagonal slits on the top of each roll.
Add toppings
Step 9
In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp milk with 1 tsp dried thyme.
Step 10
Brush the top of each roll with the milk and thyme mix.
Step 11
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.
Air fry the first batch
Step 12
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for a couple of minutes.
Step 13
Place 5 sausage rolls in the air fryer basket. Leave space between each one.
Step 14
Air fry at 200°C for 10–12 minutes. Turn them over halfway through.
Step 15
Remove and let them cool slightly.
Air fry the second batch
Step 16
Repeat with the remaining 4 rolls, same temperature and time.
