Instructions
Step 1
Spread the sour cream over each slice of bread.
Step 2
Add the sliced brie to half of each sandwich. Spread the cherry jam over the other half.
Step 3
Top the cherry jam side with spinach (optional). Season all slices with salt and pepper, then close the sandwiches.
Step 4
Melt a dab of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the sandwiches and cook for 2-3 min on each side, lowering the heat if needed to avoid burning.
Step 5
Turn off the heat, cover, and set aside for 1 min.
Step 6
Remove the sandwiches from the pan and slice on the diagonal.
