Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to high and prepare ingredients by washing and drying all produce.
Step 2
Peel and cut potatoes into 1/2-inch pieces. Boil with salt until fork-tender, 10-12 min. Drain and mash with cream cheese, cheddar, parsley, milk, and butter.
Step 3
While potatoes cook, strip thyme leaves, chop parsley, and mince garlic.
Step 4
Heat an oven-proof pan over medium heat and cook beef until no pink remains, 4-5 min. Drain excess fat.
Step 5
Add butter, mirepoix, thyme, and garlic to beef. Cook until veggies soften, 3-4 min. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Add tomato sauce base and flour. Cook for 1-2 min, then add peas, soy sauce, broth concentrate, and water. Cook until sauce thickens, 5-6 min.
Step 7
Transfer beef mixture to baking dish if needed. Top with mashed potatoes and broil until golden, 4-5 min.
Step 8
Let pie stand 5 min before serving. Sprinkle remaining parsley on top.
