Ingredients
2 servings
For the tofu marinade
¼ cupolive oil
2 Tbsplemon juice
1garlic clove
large, minced
1 tspmaple syrup
1 tspground coriander
1 tspsmoked paprika
1 tspcumin
½ tspcardamom
½ tspturmeric
¼ tspcayenne
ground cloves
¾ tspkosher salt
For the tahini sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Press tofu and cut into large cubes.
Step 2
Whisk the marinade ingredients together.
Step 3
Marinate tofu pieces for a minimum of 1 hour (longer = better).
Step 4
Meanwhile, make the tahini sauce by mixing together the sauce ingredients.
Step 5
Thread the marinated tofu onto skewers, brushing over any extra marinade.
Step 6
Grill on medium high heat until lightly charred and crispy (~5 mins per side).
Step 7
Serve with tahini sauce, pita, and tabouli (or a simple cucumber, tomato salad).
