Instructions

Sauce

Step 1
In a small pot on low heat, mix the tomato chunks (undrained, so with the luquid it came in) and puree. Keep this on low heat and stir constantly (every minute or 2 or whenever you see bubbles) until done or longer (longer time will not hurt the sauce).

Add all spices to taste. Generally I use about 2 shakes of each spice to start, and go from there as I see fit.

Step 3
Keep the sauce on low heat until the noodles are done.

Step 4
Cook noodles according to their packaging, strain, and add the sauce. You should have leftover sauce most of the time when cooking one package of tortellini.

Package any left over sauce and keep it in the fridge, it stays good for about a week and a half if sealed and left alone.
