Ingredients
4 servings

1boneless pork shoulder roast
trimmed and cut into 3/4-inch pieces

1onions
medium, cut into wedges

2garlic cloves
minced

2 tspvegetable oil

2 ½ cupswater

4parsnips
medium, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

1can diced tomatoes
undrained

1 cupcelery
thinly sliced

¾ cuplentils
rinsed and drained

1 ½ tspdried rosemary
crushed

1 tspinstant beef bouillon granules

¼ tspsalt

¼ tspblack pepper

fresh rosemary
snipped, optional
Instructions
Step 1
In a large skillet, cook meat, onion, and garlic in hot oil over medium-high heat until meat is browned. Drain off fat.





Step 2
Transfer meat mixture to crock pot. Stir in the remaining ingredients.













Step 3
Cover and cook low for 10 to 12 hours.
Step 4
If desired, add snipped fresh rosemary.
