Instructions
Stroganoff
Step 1
Chop onion to 1/4 inch and mince garlic. Season beef with salt and pepper. Brown the meat over medium-high heat in large skillet. Start the water heating for the pasta.
Step 2
Once meat is almost cooked add in onions, garlic and mushrooms. Cook mushrooms and onions down until skillet is deglazed.
Step 3
Add in the cream of mushroom soup, French onion soup mix, wine and milk.
Step 4
Start the pasta cooking and lower heat to low and simmer to reduce the sauce while pasta cooks
Step 5
Once pasta is done, drain and set aside. Remove the stroganoff from heat then add in sour cream and fold in.
Step 6
Serve the stroganoff over the pasta.
