Instructions

Step 1
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender; drain.
Step 2
In a large pan, sauté onions in half of the butter.
Step 3
Add cabbage or kale, cooking until wilted.
Step 4
Mash the potatoes with remaining butter and milk or cream.
Step 5
Combine the mashed potatoes with the cabbage mixture.
Step 6
Stir in cheese and green onions.
Step 7
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 8
Transfer to an oven-safe dish and bake at 360°F (180°C) for 15-20 mins or use an air fryer at 340°F (170°C) for 15 mins.
