Make the Honey Mustard Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together all honey mustard sauce ingredients. Adjust sweetness and tang to taste. 3. Sear the Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown (it won’t be cooked through yet). 4. Add Sauce and Bake: Pour the honey mustard sauce over the chicken. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165°F (74°C). 5. Roast the Asparagus: While the chicken is baking, place asparagus on a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Roast in the oven for the last 12–15 minutes of the chicken’s cook time, or until tender-crisp.
