Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, ginger and a good pinch of salt and cook for 6-8 minutes. Add the spices and the lamb mince and continue to cook for 4-6 minutes more until the lamb mince is browning. Add the tinned tomatoes, peas and potatoes, then use the tomato tin to add 800 ml of water (fill it twice) and bring to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked. For the authentic experience, fill a toasted bread roll or two with the mince and eat. Alternatively, serve alongside rice or naan.
