Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, ginger and a good pinch of salt and cook for 6-8 minutes. Add the spices and the lamb mince and continue to cook for 4-6 minutes more until the lamb mince is browning. Add the tinned tomatoes, peas and potatoes, then use the tomato tin to add 300ml of water and bring to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked. For the authentic experience, fill a toasted bread roll or two with the mince and eat. Alternatively, serve alongside rice or naan.
