Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the Ribs
Step 2
Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel. For maximum tenderness, many experts suggest peeling off the silverskin membrane from the back of the bone. Cut the rack into single ribs to ensure every side gets crispy.
Step 3
Marinate
Step 4
In a large bowl, mix the ribs with minced garlic, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, and barbecue seasoning. Massage the marinade into the meat and let it sit for at least 10 minutes (though 2-3 hours or overnight is highly recommended for deeper flavor).
Step 5
Load the Air Fryer
Step 6
Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Place the ribs in the basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding so the hot air can circulate properly. Sprinkle a little extra minced garlic on top for that signature aroma.
Step 7
Air Fry
Step 8
Cook for 20 minutes total. At the 10-minute mark, pause and flip the ribs using tongs to ensure even browning on both sides.
Step 9
Rest and Serve
Step 10
Once they are golden and the meat has pulled back slightly from the bone, remove them. Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes—this allows the juices to redistribute so they stay tender inside.
