1 Tbspvegetable oil
1 lblean ground beef
1 cuponion
diced
1 cupred bell pepper
diced
1 cupmushrooms
diced
3 tbspsminced garlic
1 tspsjalapeño
finely chopped, or chili pepper
796mlcan diced tomatoes
3 tbspstomato paste
3 tbspschili powder
¼ tspblack pepper
1 cupbroth
any flavour, beef is best
540mlcan chickpeas
drained and rinsed
Instructions
Step 1
In a large skillet heat vegetable oil to medium. Add beef and diced onions and cook until beef is no longer pink. Then add red bell pepper, garlic, jalapeño and mushrooms. Cook 3-5 minutes then add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
