Instructions

Step 1
In a large (10 to 12-quart) stockpot, bring 5 quarts of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Stir in the Zatarain’s Crab Boil to get that spice going.
Step 2
Add the Zatarain’s Cajun Style Smoked Sausage, potatoes, celery, onions, and garlic. Cover and let it boil for 15 minutes, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
Step 3
Squeeze the lemons right into the pot, then toss the squeezed halves in too. Add the shrimp, give everything a stir, and bring it back to a boil. Cover and cook for just 1 minute—shrimp cook fast!
Step 4
Turn off the heat and let it all sit in the pot for 5 minutes so the flavors soak in. Meanwhile, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, Zatarain’s Creole Seasoning, and oregano in a large bowl.
Step 5
Drain the boil and serve with warm garlic butter sauce on the side for dipping.
