Instructions
Step 1
Saute over medium heat the garlic in butter and just the oil from the anchovies
Step 2
Chop the anchovies a bit to break them up, then add to saute.
Step 3
Stir constantly until anchovies are pretty much emulsified, then add Half & Half
Step 4
Turn heat down to low, stir every 5-10 minutes. Just keep an eye on it not to boil.
Step 5
It may seem like it's not going to thicken but after about an hour it will come together like a thick cream. Depending on the consistency desired, it may take more or less time.
Step 6
Remove from burner to cool for 5-10 min.
Step 7
Whisk before serving with various veggies or breads. Enjoy!
