Instructions

Step 1
Brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until heavily browned.
Step 2
Add the butter to equal 2 T of fat. Stir it into the meat.
Step 3
Add the seasonings and stir to bloom seasoning. 30 seconds.
Step 4
Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Pour the milk into the sausage and flour mixture slowly, whisking constantly until smooth.
Step 6
Sample the gravy, adjust to taste then let rest on low heat.
Step 7
To achieve desired consistency either let it rest longer or add a tablespoon of milk at a time.
Step 8
Serve on Biscuit or toast of choice. Enjoy!
