These soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies are a simple,beginner-friendly recipe made without eggs (allergy friendly!), baking soda, or white sugar. They use basic ingredients but still bake up thick, gooey in th centre and lighty cripsy on the edges. A short chilling time helps create that bakery-style texure in every bite!

Instructions

Step 1
1. In a bowl, mix togther butter and brown sugar until smooth (1-2 mins)

2. Add milk and vanilla extract then mix again

3. Add baking powder and salt then add in your flour in small amounts until its a dough consistency ( add a small amount of milk if dry)

4.Fold in your desired amount of chocolate chips

5. Put the dough in the fridge for 20-30mins (try not to skip this part)

6.Preheat your oven as soon as your dough in the fridge. Preheat to 170c° ( 338°F)

7.Place prachment paper onto your oven tray

8. Take your dough out of the fridge and shape them into balls (1tbsp for 14-16 cookie or 2 tbsp for 8-10). Then, place them on your tray spaced out

9.Place the tray into the oven and bake for 10-12min ( you may need to add more)

10. Once they are done cooking, let them sit for 5-10 mintues and they should be ready!!
