Instructions

Step 1
Slice or cut kielbasa and brown over medium heat until color develops on the pieces Remove from heat and set aside
Step 2
Toss in onion and peppers with some oil until the onion is golden and the peppers have softened
Step 3
Rinse rice and add it to the skillet until the rice is golden toasted
Step 4
Pour in water or broth, add sausage, stir, then cover and bring to a boil
Step 5
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and leave on heat, covered, without stirring until the liquid cooks off, about 10-15 minutes
Step 6
Fluff the rice mixture and serve!
