Charcuterie Board for Game Night

I used what I had with a few additions. This was my first attempt at a board for a party. It felt like an art project. When I got to the game night, I thought, "Aunt Pete" here is the art 🎨 project I made for you. Do you like it? Note: Aunt Pete doesn't like cheese so that inspired me to add something sweet more to her taste. Shout out to Brandon for loaning me the board! It was perfect.

Instructions

Step 1
1. Melt chocolate and dip strawberries and pretzels. Sit on parchment paper. Do this ahead of time to make for easy board assembly
Step 2
2. Build board/ Bonne Maman Apricot preserves first
Step 3
3. Add bowls with hummus and olives. I used Hummus and Greek olives from Middle Eastern Market on Bancroft avenue in Toledo
Step 4
4. Add salami ribbons & cheeses: Feta & white cheddar I used Bulgarian sheep Feta and a white Cheddar. Feta is kind of messy so I put it on a little plate. I cut a block of white cheddar. Not to small, not to big. Just right for eating. Don't need to be uniform size.
Step 5
Add fruit. Black grapes and strawberries. Think about blueberries as filler. Sprinkle them around. I actually added the blueberries when I got to the party.
Step 6
Then I added the chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels. Note they have their own section on the bottom. So as not to overpower the other flavors on the board.
Step 7
Then I added the pretzel crisps, these were a sale item at Costco. But wow, perfect for a game night. I took the whole bag and I am glad I did.
Step 8
I tucked the Turkish Delight from the Middle Eastern Market in between the cheeses.
Step 9
I sprinkled walnuts where I wanted to.
Step 10
Add your herbs wherever you think they look good. See the rosemary sprigs to the side
Step 11
Remember I sprinkled the blueberries after the board was in its place at the party.
