Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 170°C fan-forced. Place the flour, oats, sugar and coconut in a large bowl and stir to combine.

desiccated coconutdesiccated coconut¾ cup
Step 2
Heat butter and golden syrup in a pan until the butter has been melted. Remove from heat then add water and bicarb soda. Mix together.

golden syrupgolden syrup2 Tbsp
waterwater1 ½ Tbsp
Step 3
Pour the wet mixture into the large mixing bowl of dry ingredients. Combine it all together
Step 4
Roll mixture into balls and place into baking trays lined with baking paper. Flatten the top of the mixture slightly.
Step 5
Bake for 12 minutes
