½ cupbutter
1 cupsugar
1egg
2 tspvanilla
1 ¼ cupflour
½ cupcocoa powder
2 Tbspcornstarch
¾ tspbaking soda
½ tspbaking powder
Coating
for balls of dough
8Oreos
crushed to crumbs
¾ cupbutter
2 cupspowdered sugar
⅓ cupcocoa powder
½ tspvanilla
1 Tbspwhipping cream
Topping
Oreo crumbs
for sprinkling
1gummy worm
per cookie
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 340°F.
Step 2
Make the cookie dough: cream butter and sugar; beat in egg and vanilla. Mix in flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking soda, and baking powder until combined.
Step 3
Form dough into balls and roll in crushed Oreo crumbs.
Step 4
Bake at 340°F for about 8–9 minutes.
Step 5
Make frosting: beat butter with powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and enough whipping cream (1–2 tbsp) to reach a spreadable consistency.
Step 6
Frost cooled cookies; sprinkle with Oreo crumbs and place a gummy worm on each cookie.
