½ cupgrated parmesan cheese
¼ cupfresh parsley

2 TbspOlive oil
Instructions
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
Step 2
2. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
3. Cook the ground turkey: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute. Add the ground turkey, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until no longer pink. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using.
Step 4
4. Combine the sauce: Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet with the turkey. Stir in the chopped parsley and simmer for 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Step 5
5. Assemble the dish: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and turkey sauce. Transfer half of the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the pasta. Add the remaining pasta mixture on top and sprinkle the rest of the cheese evenly.
Step 6
6. Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Step 7
7. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm. Pair with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
