Instructions
Step 1
Mix the spread: In a small bowl, stir the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, chives, salt, and pepper together until completely smooth.
Step 2
Lay out the base: Lay down a large piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper on your counter. Lay 3 to 4 slices of your chosen cheese flat on the paper, slightly overlapping each other to form a large rectangle.
Step 3
Add the cream layer: Use a butter knife to gently spread a thin, even layer of the seasoned cream cheese directly over the sliced cheese base.
Step 4
Layer the Buddig meat: Lay your Buddig lunch meat slices flat over the cream cheese layer, covering it completely.
Step 5
Roll it tight: Starting from the long edge closest to you, use the plastic wrap or parchment paper to help lift and tightly roll the meat and cheese up into a long log shape. Wrap the plastic wrap tightly around the log.
Step 6
Chill and slice: Pop the wrapped log into the fridge for 15 to 20 minutes. This firms up the cream cheese so it doesn't squish out when you cut it. Remove the plastic wrap, slice into thick, bite-sized wheels, and serve cold.
