Instructions

Step 1
Cook the Ground Turkey: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 2
Assemble the Nachos: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread a layer of tortilla chips evenly across the bottom of an oven-safe skillet. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the chips. Evenly distribute the seasoned ground turkey, black beans, corn, red onion, over the cheese. Add another layer of tortilla chips on top, followed by the remaining cheeses.
Step 3
Bake the Nachos: Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 4
Add Fresh Toppings: Remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top the nachos with diced tomato, fresh cilantro, and diced avocado.
Step 5
Serve: Serve the skillet nachos with sour cream, salsa, and lime wedges on the side for added flavor.
