These incredibly easy four-ingredient turtle bars combine a soft cookie base with rich caramel, crunchy pecans, and gooey chocolate. They take just 15 minutes of active prep time and are a perfect quick dessert or party treat.

Step 1
Prepare the crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9 × 13-inch baking pan. Press the raw cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
Step 2
Add the turtle layers: Bake the crust for 10 to 12 minutes until just set. Remove from the oven, and evenly pour the dulce de leche over the warm cookie base. Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the caramel.
Step 3
Melt and top: Bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until the caramel is bubbling. Immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot bars. Let the chips sit for 3 to 5 minutes to soften, then use a spatula or the back of a spoon to gently spread the melted chocolate into an even layer.
Step 4
Cool and slice: Let the bars cool completely at room temperature, then place them in the fridge to set completely before slicing into squares.
