Instructions
Step 1
Preheat and Prep: Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease two standard 6-cavity donut pans. [1, 2] Whisk Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the Namaste flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. [1, 2] Mix Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, vigorously whisk the sugars, eggs, milk, melted butter, oil, and vanilla extract until fully unified. [1, 2] Combine: Pour the wet mixture into the dry flour mixture. Stir gently with a spatula just until combined and no flour pockets remain. The batter will be thick. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Fill the Pans: Spoon the batter into a large zip-top bag and snip off a corner. Pipe the thick batter evenly into the prepared donut cavities, filling them about ¾ full. [1, 2, 3] Bake: Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. They are done when the tops spring back when lightly touched and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. [1, 2, 3, 4] Finish: Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then turn them out onto a wire rack. Brush with extra melted butter and toss in a cinnamon-sugar mixture while warm.
