Step 1
1. Add the sliced onion to the bottom of the crockpot.

2. Place the top round beef roast over the onions.

3. Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix and black pepper over the roast.

4. Add the minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce.

5. Pour the beef bone broth around the roast.

6. Cover and cook on LOW for 8–9 hours, until the beef is extremely tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.

7. Shred the beef directly in the crockpot.

8. Stir the shredded beef into the au jus.

9. Let the beef sit in the au jus for 10–15 minutes.

10. For French dip sandwiches, place the beef on toasted rolls and top with provolone cheese.
