Homemade Date Paste

3 steps
Prep:15min
Date paste is the best sweetener. It's easy, relatively cheap, and nutritious. Dates are a whole food that are a great source of natural energy and carbohydrates. Unlike other sweeteners, dates contain measurable amounts of nutrients, like fiber and antioxidants. You can also make raisin or fig paste in the exact same way. Each serving is about 1 tbsp (15 g).
