Instructions

Step 1
Mix 1 cup warm water, sugar, active dry yeast, and first cup of flour and allow to foam (~15min)
Step 2
mix in remaining flour, oil, and salt to form dough
Step 3
Add flour as necessary to create kneadable dough
Step 4
Place in oiled bowl, cover with cloth, and allow to rise for 2 hrs
Step 5
Once risen, roll into a ball and cut into 8 equal parts
Step 6
Once again, cover and allow to rise on floured surface for ~30min
Step 7
Finally, press the 8 balls into 1/4inch disks and allow to rest for ~30min
Step 8
While rising, gently heat oil in pan
Step 9
Once heated, place disks in shallow oil and cook ~2-3 / side
