Step 1
Rip small sections of dough and lightly brush with melted butter. Wrap each section around your finger to create a nest. Place it into an 8 inch cake pan and put pistachios into the center of each nest. Bake 350° for 45-50 minutes until golden brown. Pour simple syrup on top and let it sit until the syrup has soaked in and baklava is room temperature then enjoy.
