Instructions
Step 1
Beat egg whites to stiffness and fold in powdered sugar
Step 2
Set aside 3 tbsp of egg whites
Step 3
To the rest add vanilla sugar, almond extract, cinnamon, and almond meal
Step 4
Roll onto plastic wrap/silicone sheet to 1/2 cm thick; rest in fridge for 15 min
Step 5
Take off wrap and cut them with a star-shaped cutter
Step 6
Arrange on parchment-lined baking sheet (they will barely spread) and pipe/spoon on meringue
Step 7
Bake at 250 degrees for 15 min, then reduce to 215 for 30 min
Step 8
Eat.
