Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C
Step 2
Cream the margerine, caster suger and vanilla essence together.
Step 3
Gradually add the lightly beaten egg.
Step 4
Add the flour and mix until just combined. Do not work the dough to much.
Step 5
Decide the dough in half and wrap each in plastic. Cool in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Step 6
Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 5 mm.
Step 7
Cut with cookie cutters that are dipped in flour to prevent stickiness.
Step 8
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
