Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Once butter is melted, fry the pork steaks for about 2 minutes each side or until cooked through. Cooking time will vary depending on thickness of the pork.
Step 2
Once pork is cooked, cover and set aside. Leaving the butter in the pan, add the shallot and cook for 3-4 minutes or until translucent.
Step 3
Once the shallot is cooked, add the wine and bring to a simmer, reducing the liquid by half.
Step 4
Once liquid has thickened, add the cream and the mustard, stirring to combine.
Step 5
Simmer for a few minutes to allow the mixture to thicken slightly and the flavours to come together.
Step 6
Add the pork steaks back into the fry pan with any juices from the plate. Coat in the mustard sauce and heat through for a minute or two ... they are now ready to serve.
