Instructions
Step 1
Mix room temperature eggs, milk, sugar, and yeast
Step 2
Add bread flour and salt and mix well
Step 3
During the kneading process, add room temperature butter piece by piece. The kneading process should take about 15 minutes by hand. At first the dough will be wet and sticky but by the end it should be come together
Step 4
Let dough proof in a covered bowl for about 45 mins to 1hr
Step 5
Take dough out of bowl and punch down and knead for a couple seconds. Then roll it in a log and cut it about 8 equal pieces
Step 6
Form the pieces into a ball and place in a greased loaf pan. Let the dough proof for another 45 mins or until the dough has roughly doubled in size
Step 7
Once the dough has risen, paint it with a beaten egg. Then cook the loaf at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until the loaf has nicely browned
