Instructions

Step 1
Freeze, thaw, drain, and press tofu. Cut into patty size quarters.
Step 2
Mix marinade ingredients well and add tofu slices, wetting both sides with the marinade. Refrigerate for 1-24 hours, flipping occasionally.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in skillet. Season flour.
Step 4
Remove tofu from marinade, allowing some if the seasoning to adhere. Sprinkle both sides of the tofu with the seasoned flour. Fry for 3-5 minutes on both sides until crispy.
Step 5
Move tofu to the side and mix sauce ingredients together in the skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes. Turn off heat and let the sauce thicken, spooning it over the tofu.
Step 6
Serve tofu on buns with plenty of sauce.
