Instructions

Stuffing

Step 1
soak the mushrooms in hot water for 30 minutes, then drain them and finely chop, don’t discard the soaking liquid but get rid of the bottom sand residue

dice bacon
Step 3
put the bacon on the cold wok and add a splash of water, heat it and fry on medium heat for a few minutes until golden brown, stirring from time to time

finely chop the onion and garlic

add the onion to the pan and fry for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally

add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds
Step 7
add chopped mushrooms into the pan together with a few tablespoons of soaking liquid, turn heat to low and cook for 10 minutes until water evaporates, stir frequently

chop the parsley and add to the pan with the breadcrumbs, stir well

season the stuffing with freshly ground pepper or chili, and salt, mix thoroughly and set aside to cool

Dip

put the cream in a bowl and pour a little soy sauce on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds (don’t mix)

Dough, Assembly, and Cooking

add the flour, turmeric and salt into a bowl, mix the ingredients thoroughly with a fork

pour hot water and oil, mix with fork

when the dough has cooled down for a while, knead it into a elastic dough for a few minutes

if the dough is too sticky, sprinkle it with a little flour

shape the finished dough into a ball, cover it with a bowl and set aside for 20 minutes.

divide the dough into two pieces, sprinkle the table top with flour and roll out the dough pieces on it to a thickness of approx. 0.3 cm

cut circles from the rolled out dough, for example with a glass

put a teaspoon of stuffing in the middle of each circle, fold the dough and “glue” the edges tightly together

prepare the steamer (line it with parchment paper, puncture it in several places) and boil water in a pot that fits the diameter of the steamer

place the dumplings on the steamer

steam the dumplings, covered, for approx. 10 minutes
