Step 1
Prepare pie shell to bake
Step 2
Mix 2 Tablespoons water and 2 Tablespoons corn starch, set aside. Heat 1/2 cup water and 3/4 cup corn starch till boiling. Once boiling whisk in the cornstarch until thickened and clear. Remove from heat to cool. Add 1 Tablespoon almond extract and 4-5 drops food coloring. Cool
Step 3
Once glaze is cooled make cream cheese layer by beating softened cream cheese and sugar till smooth.
Step 4
Take pie shell and smooth the cream cheese layer on the bottom and sides.
Step 5
Add the prepared hulled strawberries
Step 6
Pour glaze over strawberries
Step 7
Serve and enjoy
