Step 1
Season chuck roast with salt & pepper
Step 2
Sear all sides in a skillet
Step 3
Put chuck roast in crock pot
Step 4
Add butter and onions to the hot skillet
Step 5
Let those cook down just a little bit and add beef broth, minced garlic, green chiles, salt, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, cilantro, and black pepper

Stir everything together and let simmer
Step 7
Pour onion and broth mixture over the chuck toast in the crock pot

Cook on low for 8 hours
Step 9
Once meat is cooked, shred and let sit in juices
Step 10
Assemble tacos with your favorite ingredients
Lay down small pile of cheese on skillet until melted. Dip tortilla in broth from crock pot. Lay dipped tortilla on melted cheese, flip tortilla so cheese is on top, place shredded meat on top, and fold
