Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or a silicone mat.
Step 2
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel, and season both sides with pink Himalayan salt and pepper.
Step 3
Place the salmon in the middle of the prepared pan, and arrange the asparagus around the salmon.
Step 4
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and stir until the garlic just begins to brown, about 3 minutes.
Step 5
Drizzle the garlic-butter sauce over the salmon and asparagus, and top both with the Parmesan cheese.
Step 6
Bake until the salmon is cooked and the asparagus is crisp-tender, about 12 minutes. You can switch the oven to broil at the end of cooking time for about 3 minutes to get a nice char on the asparagus.
